Our motion design

THE CURRENT SITUATION

With their ‘algorithmic organisation‘, some multinational leaders in the tech industry have an agenda to ‘devour’ as much private user data as possible in order to cash in on it with advertisers (* advertising revenues for 2021: 300 billion $). With free services, users become the product on sale! Your activity is tracked, measured and analyzed. Under this business model, Big Brother is continuing to diminish our private lives. The ‘digital citizen’ is the producer of this data and they become bereaved of it. Tragic events linked to publicised violent content continues to increase, without sparing our children and the women. Not respecting the legal age of 15, these Orwellian networks encourage children to excessively use screens, leading to dependency and potential brain-related consequences.

NEWTTLE

With its ‘business model’, namely a subscription fee of just €3/month, Newttle will not resort to the use or retention of personal data, which means no advertising. Newttle will be the only product and not its users! We will never use algorithms to provide you with targeteds, personalizeds contents. Respecting the legal age of 15 years, parental consent will be mandatory. Impact company, charitable and useful part of this contribution will be donated to support various causes (ecological, medical, social, etc.) of your choosing and encouraging community self-help. The moderation of the contents diffused is one of our priorities ans requirements, in order to protect our children and the women as well. Newttle is going to be a great tool of revolutionary communication thanks to active participation from its members, since we will be putting a ‘participative’ option (continuous feedback) as the centrepiece. It’s the first social network that truly belongs to its users!

A SIMPLE INTERFACE

Newttle will provide a viable interface from the start with the options needed to cover all the community members’ needs. Refined and intuitive, everyone will be able to use it. Its visual rendering and ergonomics will offer quality and comfort in navigation, especially since there will be no advertising pollution! Finally, users will take part in the network’s growth by means of a ‘participation option’ (as cited above) allowing them to share their suggestions for changes with developers!

HOW TO HELP US?

* Olivier Ertzscheid, researcher in information sciences and communication at the University of Nantes, hypothesises (28/02/2018) ‘that internet users are waiting for a credible plan B instead of the current dominant platforms’. Newttle propose a solution to counter the misuse of personal data, cyberbullying, the deepfakes and the fakes news in social networking. To support us, all you have to do is become an ‘ambassador’ to your friends and family, and spread the word about Newttle to as many people as possible. You can contact us at : contact@newttle.com  to help us secure funding, media exposure and future crowdfunding success. You’ll be amazed at the steps we’ve taken via our ‘Support’ tab. FOR NEWTTLE TO BECOME TOMORROW’S REALITY.

DECEPTIONS

Many social networks have presented themselves as ‘fervent defenders of privacy and the non-use of it.’ Unfortunately with the same business model, the logical sequence of events was not hard to predict! The arrival of advertisements, and therefore the use of user personal data. Added to this is the dictatorship of targeteds, opaque algorithms. The purpose being a for-profit commercial platform (Dark UX). Allowing anonymous or pseudonymous accounts, they encourage cyberbullying. Additionally, there is the issue of non-compliance with the legal registration age of 15 years. The consequence: a shaken confidence.

PRESS REVIEW

Internet users’ main concern is cyberbullying and the use of their personal data, in other words their privacy, as well as invasive advertising used by social networks & instant messengers. In consequence there has been a drop in the number of active users. This apparent and profound uneasiness can be explained by the sudden awareness of personal data exploitation, especially after the recent scandals and the dramas of cyberstalking. The abandonment by public authorities towards Newttle and yourself leaves us speechless (see ‘support’ tab). If you take some time to read our additional information, you will see the highlights regarding the evolution from 2014 to the present day.
